Wigan Warriors produced another huge Super League crowd with 17,625 watching their return from Las Vegas with a thumping 44-18 victory over Huddersfield Giants.

However, it was a mini hangover for the Super League champions in the first half, with the Giants 18-0 up at half-time. But 34 unanswered points sealed the win at the Brick Community Stadium.

Elsewhere, 11,438 watched Hull KR defeat St Helens 20–10 at the Totally Wicked Stadium. It was a fourth successive win for the Robins, who are the only remaining 100% side left in Super League and currently top the table.

Over at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, 10,024 saw Wakefield Trinity inflict more pain on Warrington Wolves with a 30-16 victory. The win was extra sweet for Daryl Powell on his return to the club who sacked him two seasons ago, with Liam Hood the star of the show.

At the MKM Stadium, Hull and Leigh Leopards played out a 22-all draw in a Thursday night thriller that was both chaotic and controversial, with the RFL confirming that made a big mistake in the golden point period.

In the South of France, 8,125 saw Catalans Dragons pick up a first win of the season with an 11-0 victory over Leeds Rhinos at the Stade Gilbert Brutus. A Luke Keary drop-goal saw the French side 1-0 up at half-time, with two second half Reimis Smith tries sealing the win.

And at Wheldon Road, 6,295 saw Castleford Tigers get up and running with a 22-14 victory against Salford Red Devils. Judah Rimbu got the decisive try, with Danny McGuire celebrating a first win as a Super League head coach.
