Swansea City suffer huge deadline day blow as moves for duo collapse at the 11th hour
Swansea City have been rocked by a double deadline day blow, having seen moves for Manchester City midfielder Jacob Wright and Red Bull Salzburg's Bobby Clark fall through.
Wright had looked set to join the Swans in what would have been a loan move with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, and was in Fairwood on Sunday night to hold further discussions with the club.
However, despite previous hope that a move could be completed, it seems the player has seemingly opted against a move to south Wales. Reports elsewhere have suggested the 19-year-old could now be poised for a move to Championship rivals Norwich City.

The news will come as a bitter blow to the Swans, who had identified the teenager as a potential option to help fill the void left by captain Matt Grimes, who completed a move to Coventry City late last week.
It now remains to be seen where the club will turn next, with there now precious little time to search for an alternative before the 11pm deadline.
What's more, a move for ex-Liverpool man Bobby Clark also appears to have fallen by the wayside.
A deal to take Clark on loan for the rest of the season had initially been agreed by his current club, Red Bull Salzburg, but it now appears unlikely that a transfer will get over the line.
Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis O'Brien has, however, come through the door, having completed a loan move earlier in the day.
As things stand, he's now likely to be Swansea's only signing of what's shaping up to be a disastrous deadline day, although the club are believed to still be working on possible alternatives.
Leyton Orient midfielder Ethan Galbraith, who had previously been earmarked as a possible target in the summer, has been the subject of a failed £750,000 bid earlier today. It's understood another bid is unlikely at this stage.
