Manchester United continue to be linked with a number of potential transfer targets ahead of deadline day on Monday night.

As the winter transfer window approaches its end, Ruben Amorim will be looking at late deals to help transform their season. With the Portuguese manager bringing in a new style of play, the need for players who fit that system has become a priority.

Some players within the squad have shone under their new manager, such as Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui. However, others, such as Marcus Rashford have struggled and moved on to new pastures..

Amorim's new formation and dynamic has slowly begun to take effect after a dreary and slow start. Although they still remain in the bottom half of the Premier League, recent results have shown signs of promise.

19-year-old Mathys Tel had last week told Bayern Munich officials that he intended to make a mid-season move elsewhere. Tottenham initially led the charge, but after being rejected, United looked to be in control with the forward having a decision to make today.

Paul Pogba has also been linked with a shock return to Old Trafford after leaving the club back in 2022. Coming towards the end of his ban from football due to testing positive for DHEA. A series of cryptic social media posts last week from Pogba seemed to hint at a third stint with United.

Another potential midfield option could be former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian's move to Juventus hasn't gone well and he is seemingly looking for a return to the Premier League. His technical ability and strength could certainly bolster Amorim's midfield.

With countless players being linked with a move to Old Trafford, the Manchester Evening News has taken a look at the odds for players to sign for United.
