Tottenham ended their 2023/24 Premier League season on Sunday afternoon with a 3-0 victory against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. The result means that Spurs finish the campaign in fifth and qualify for the 2024/25 Europa League.

Following Tuesday evening's 2-0 defeat against Man City, Ange Postecoglou made one change to his Spurs XI with Dejan Kulusevski replacing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The Swede, who started through the middle of Tottenham's front three, was to have a key say on the game in the 14th minute as he found the net with an arrowed drive that gave Wes Foderingham no chance.

He then went close to a second of the contest not long after but Foderingham was this time on hand to deny him. The goalkeeper continued to thwart Tottenham, with Son Heung-min, James Maddison and Pedro Porro all denied by Sheffield's No.18.

The Blades did have chances of their own and Tottenham needed Pape Matar Sarr to be on hand to get a crucial deflection to Cameron Archer's low effort. Spurs then got a crucial second goal on the hour mark with Porro finding the net in style after the ball had fallen kindly to him on the edge of the area.

It was to get even better for Spurs moments later with Kulusevski grabbing his second of the contest from close range following Maddison's low cross from the left. Here is how we rated the Spurs players at Bramall Lane:

Guglielmo Vicario

Didn't have a lot to do at times despite Sheffield United fashioning some very good openings. Went to ground following a Jayden Bogle challenge in the second half and the home fans booed him whenever he was on the ball after that. 6

Pedro Porro

Put in a lovely cross that Cristian Romero fired wide and then went close towards the end of the first half with a rasping drive. Attacked well throughout and got a goal to his name on 59 minutes with a powerful shot that gave Foderingham no chance. 8

Cristian Romero

Volleyed wide in the first half from Porro's cross when he probably should have done better. Solid at the back for the Lilywhites after a few scares early on. 6

Radu Dragusin

Kept his place in the XI after an impressive showing against Man City but a loose header presented Ben Brereton Diaz with a chance in the opening two minutes. Recovered well after that and even embarked on a run upfield at one point. 6

Micky van de Ven

Named at left-back once again and played a key role in Kulusevski's opener after winning the ball down the touchline before playing it inside. Almost found himself on the scoresheet just prior to Porro's strike as the ball was cleared against him and it forced Foderingham to tip the ball wide of the post. Fared well at left-back. 7

Rodrigo Bentancur

Incredibly unlucky not to score in the first half with an effort that hit the post and then trickled along the goal line. At the base of Tottenham's midfield to begin with and delivered another good display. 6

Pape Matar Sarr

Key intervention not long before half-time after getting a vital touch to Cameron Archer's effort after a swift Sheffield United attack. Made way midway through the second half as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg came on. 6

James Maddison

Picked out Kulusevski with a delightful ball that culminated in Foderingham denying his teammate and saw the goalkeeper keep out one of his own efforts from close range. Got an assist in the second half as he teed up Kulusevski for his second of the game with a low ball across goal. 8

Brennan Johnson

A good shift down the right flank from the winger. Missed a big opening late on as he hit Son's cross over from a matter of yards out. 6

Dejan Kulusevski

Returned to the Tottenham XI after a bright cameo against Man City and started centrally in Spurs' front three. Opened the scoring with an arrowed effort that went in off the post and went close to a second midway inside the first half but Foderingham saved well low down. Doubled his tally in the 65th minute with a low strike from six yards out. Really good performance from the Swede up front as he held the ball up well throughout and caused the hosts some real issues. 9

Son Heung-min

Started on the left flank and got an assist to his name for Kulusevski's opener and went close to a goal himself but Foderingham kept out his powerful effort. Key role in Tottenham's second goal as he produced a swift turn to get into the area and then played a great pass down the line for Maddison that resulted in Kulusevski netting. His cross for Johnson late on was excellent and he really deserved an assist for it. 8
