Tottenham vs Crystal Palace LIVE! Premier League result, match stream and latest updates today
Timo Werner's first goal for Tottenham Hotspur sparked a 3-1 comeback victory at home against Crystal Palace to revive their top-four hopes in the Premier League on Saturday.
The German former Chelsea forward, on loan from RB Leipzig, converted from close range in the 77th minute to cancel out Eberechi Eze's superb free kick that had given Palace the lead.
Having struggled for most of the game to create chances, Tottenham were suddenly rejuvenated and they went ahead three minutes later when Cristian Romero headed in.
Captain Son Heung-min completed the job with a typically clinical finish after being through one-on-one.
Victory lifted fifth-placed Tottenham to 50 points from 26 games, two behind Aston Villa.

FT: Tottenham 3-1 Crystal Palace
16:58 , Jonathan Gorrie
Not always convincing but Spurs get the job done. Palace, however, are left to rue a defensive collapse.

Now that's how you finish a one-on-one! Son characteristically makes no mistake and Spurs' comeback is complete. Great character from Ange Postecoglou's side, who deserve a win on the balance of play since half-time.
Tottenham 3-1 Crystal Palace | Heung min-Son '88
16:50 , Jonathan Gorrie
88 mins: GOAL!
Son wraps up the three points after Spurs break and he slots past Johnstone.

What a turnaround for Spurs. This feels as lot like the Brighton game on February 10, when Spurs came from 1-0 down to win 2-1. These kind of second-half comebacks aren't sustainable but they show the character and quality of Postecoglou's side.
Tottenham 2-1 Crystal Palace | Cristian Romero '80
16:42 , Jonathan Gorrie
80 mins: GOAL!
What a comeback! Romero nods in Maddison flick up into the box!
Tottenham 1-1 Crystal Palace | Timo Werner '77

73 mins: SO CLSOE AGAIN!
Son shows quick feet to create space for a shot but drags it just wide.
Dan Kilpatrick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
16:32 , Jonathan Gorrie
It's very flat inside the stadium now, with Spurs fans sensing a tense final 20 minutes of their side attempting to break down a stubborn and defensive Palace team. Brennan Johnson is on but there aren't many other game-changers in reserve for Postecoglou, aside from perhaps Giovani Lo Celso.
Tottenham 0-1 Crystal Palace
16:27 , Jonathan Gorrie
65 mins: Eze off for Franca as Palace look to manage his minutes.
Tottenham 0-1 Crystal Palace
16:26 , Jonathan Gorrie
64 mins: SO CLOSE FOR SPURS!
Werner crosses in for Son at the near post and his miss-hit finds it way to Johnson but he can’t sort his feet out in time and shoots over.
Tottenham 0-1 Crystal Palace

62 mins: Spurs make a change. Johnson for Bentancur.
Dan Kilpatrick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
16:22 , Jonathan Gorrie
Lovely hit from Eze and now Spurs are in a sticky spot. They have been better since half-time but Palace will have even less incentive to push forward and leave space at the back with a lead to protect.
Tottenham 0-1 Crystal Palace | Eberechi Eze '58
16:20 , Jonathan Gorrie
58 mins: GOAL!
It’s a brilliant free-kick from Eze, curling it beyond Vicario from just outside the box and into the top right hand corner.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace

Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
16:09 , Jonathan Gorrie
47 mins: Good play from Werner, who does well to stand up Munoz and play a delicious cross over to Kulusevski, though Palace clear.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
16:06 , Jonathan Gorrie
We’re back underway!
Dan Kilpatrick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Flat half. Werner's 1v1 with Johnstone the only big chance of note for either side. Spurs' front three all quiet and struggling to make inroads against a packed Palace defence.
HT: Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:51 , Jonathan Gorrie
HT: Spurs frustrated by Glasner’s compact Palace as Werner squanders best chance.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:49 , Jonathan Gorrie
45 mins: Three minutes added on here. Hard to see much happening without a moment of magic.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:45 , Jonathan Gorrie
42 mins: Feels like both teams needs half-time. It’s not been brilliant.
Dan Kilpatrick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
15:39 , Jonathan Gorrie
There's no space to be found in the third final when Spurs have the ball, with Palace defending in a robust 5-2-3 formation. Spurs' best chance since Werner's miss was when Bissouma managed to play through the press and they surged forward but Emerson's cross was overhit. At the other end, there's a good battle developing between van de Ven and Mateta.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:36 , Jonathan Gorrie
32 mins: A pretty sloppy opening half an hour or so. Spurs seeing a lot of the ball but their final pass is lacking, while Palace don’t appear to have much conviction going forward.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:33 , Jonathan Gorrie
28 mins: Big save! Vicario saves well from Ayew, though he may have been offside anyway.
Still, the Spurs keeper has done well when called upon.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:28 , Jonathan Gorrie
25 mins: A fairly flat atmosphere in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium now.
Dan Kilpatrick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
15:25 , Jonathan Gorrie
That really felt like classic Timo Werner: a great run and smart first touch but he never looked convincing as he bore down on Johnstone's goal and his attempt to round the goalkeeper looked telegraphed. Johnstone read it well and was able to save.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:23 , Jonathan Gorrie
20 mins: Brave goalkeeping!
Lerma’s shot from just outside the box is deflected into Munoz’s path but Vicario rushes out to stop him.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:21 , Jonathan Gorrie
17 mins: He. Had, To. Score.
Bentancur wins the ball back in midfield and plays a lovely ball over to Werner, who has a free run at goal from inside the Palace half.
The German opts to try and round Johnstone, who does very well to stop it but should never have been allowed to.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:19 , Jonathan Gorrie
16 mins: Pretty frustrating for Spurs thus far. Over 80% of possession but little to show for it.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:15 , Jonathan Gorrie
13 mins: Ayew with a terrible free-kick into the box but Mateta does well to work it into a half volley, though Emerson blocks.
Dan Kilpatrick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
15:13 , Jonathan Gorrie
Micky van de Ven is contnuing but he has not looked comfortable since a robust challenge on Mateta a few minutes ago. Both Davies and Dragusin have been sent to warm up. It would be a blow for Spurs to lose the influential Dutchman to another injury.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:12 , Jonathan Gorrie
09 mins: Slight concern for Spurs here as Van de Ven requires treatment on what looks like an ankle issue.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:08 , Jonathan Gorrie
05 mins: A rare break away from Palace as Lerma drives forward before finding Mitchell. Royal blocks and Lerma passes to Ayew, who shoots over the bar from just outside the box.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:06 , Jonathan Gorrie
05 mins: Decent shape from Palace in the opening stages as Spurs look to pick them apart. The hosts are seeing most of the ball but it looks rather congested.
Tottenham 0-0 Crystal Palace
15:03 , Jonathan Gorrie
03 mins: Munoz with a comfortable chest back to Johnstone after Richards pressed into losing the ball by Kulusevski.
