Victor Osimhen sends clear Galatasaray message as Man United seek striker transfer
Manchester United-linked Victor Osimhen has offered several clear hints over his future.
Several strikers were linked with a move to Old Trafford in the Janaury transfer window as the Reds look to solve their goalscoring issues. Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee have netted just 11 goals between them this season, however, United opted not to bring in a new No.9 as they look towards using their funds for the summer.
Nigerian international Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has been one of the names linked with a move to Ruben Amorim's side. Reports from last summer suggested that there was a break clause in his loan deal, allowing him to switch clubs during the winter transfer window; however, a move never materialised.

Osimhen has scored 17 goals and provided five assists across all competitions so far this season for Galatasaray.
And his recent social media activity suggests that he is more than happy to remain in Turkey for the time being. The forward has posted several pictures on Instagram of him involved in Galatasaray's 1-0 victory away at Gaziantep on Monday evening.
Former Turkish footballer Rıdvan Dilmen praised Osimhen's performance. He claims that clubs worldwide are ready to pay €75million (around £62m) for him.
"The most valuable clubs in the world are ready to pay 75 million euros today and he is a player who will meet this price," he said via Turkish news site Haber Turk.
"A week ago we said that Osimhen was the best player of the match. Today he ran everywhere without getting tired. He gets fouled, he dribbles. Today I only saw Osimhen standing during the National Anthem. He even ran for balls going 60-70 meters towards the corner flag."
