Coventry City submit third bid for Matt Grimes as Swansea City valuation emerges
Coventry City have submitted a third bid for Swansea City skipper Matt Grimes.
The midfielder has already been the subject of two failed bids from the Sky Blues, with Swansea understood to value the player at around £4million.
It's not yet clear if the bid has been accepted by the Swans, but it seems highly likely that the player will now bring the curtain down on his 10-year stint at the club.

Sources have indicated that Coventry's rejected second bid largely met Swansea's valuation, but was rejected due to a disagreement over the way the deal was structured. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here.
But those disagreements aren't believed to be an insurmountable barrier to a deal getting done, and an agreement between the two parties is expected to be reached over the coming days.
However, matters could yet be complicated by the fact Swansea are, by coincidence, hosting the Sky Blues on Saturday, and an agreement could well be delayed until after that game has been played out.
Grimes is currently one of the top earners at Swansea, but could be in line for big pay rise should the move go through, with Coventry understood to be ready to offer him between £30k-£35k a week.

The lure of such a big pay rise is understood to be a big factor behind the deal, with Grimes already informing boss Luke Williams and chairman Andy Coleman of his desire to leave, although he has stopped short of submitting a formal transfer request.
Losing Grimes, who has made more than 300 appearances for the club, would be a big blow to the Swans, with reports elsewhere also linking star defender Harry Darling linked with a move to Sheffield United.
However, at this stage, Swansea aren't anticipating an exit for Darling, despite talks over a new contract seemingly stalling, which means he could now leave for nothing at the end of the season.
