Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus medical has revealed that the 33-year-old has the body of a 20-year-old.
Ronaldo has previously claimed to have the biological age of a 23-year-old, but the results reportedly show that he is even fitter than that.
After completing his move from Real Madrid to Juventus, Ronaldo remarked that most players his age move to China or the US to make more money.
He insisted he was fit enough to carry on playing at the top level for at least four more years and the incredible figures from his medical show that may well be the case.
On average, a professional footballer has between 10 and 11 per cent body fat; Ronaldo’s is just seven per cent, according to Spanish newspaper AS.
The 33-year-old’s muscular mass is 50 per cent, four per cent more than the average in football, while he also recorded the fastest speed at the World Cup in Russia, sprinting at 21.1mph during one of Portugal’s games.
After netting 451 goals in 438 games for the Spanish giants, Ronaldo will be hoping to replicate his success in Serie A and cement his place as one of the very best to have ever played the game.
His medical results show that barring a serious injury, he is in the perfect condition to do just that.
