Manchester United defender sends one-word injury message ahead of Tottenham
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has responded to his return from injury with a simple message on social media.
The 30-year-old had missed eight games in all competitions after suffering an injury during the Carabao Cup quarter-final loss against Tottenham back in December. The problem forced him to withdraw at half-time.
Lindelof has, however, since returned to training and has been named on the bench for the games against FCSB in the Europa League, Fulham and Crystal Palace in the Premier League and Leicester City in the FA Cup. He was, however, an unused substitute for all four games.

Lindelof and his teammates are now preparing for the Premier League clash against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon. United travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the 4.30pm kick-off with both teams having disappointing seasons so far.
United currently sit in 13th place, with Tottenham one position and two points behind in 14th. Ahead of the match, Lindelof has posted pictures of him in training with United, along with a caption simply reading: “Back.”
The Sweden international’s return from injury comes at a good time for United, with the club confirming last week that fellow centre-back Lisandro Martinez will miss the rest of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in his knee.
Ruben Amorim will therefore now have Lindelof to turn to should he need more defensive options between now and the end of the campaign.
Lindelof is expected to leave United in the summer upon the expiry of his contract in the summer. He was linked with a move away from the club early in the January window, but the injury may have put any move on hold.
