Manchester United learn new Benjamin Sesko transfer stance amid Arsenal and Chelsea battle
An update has emerged on Benjamin Sesko's future at RB Leipzig amid links of a potential transfer to Manchester United.
United were credited with an interest in several strikers during the January transfer window, including Sesko. Bayern Munich star Mathys Tel was also a rumoured target for the Reds before the 19-year-old chose to join Tottenham Hotspur on loan until the end of the season.
The only incoming business that United managed to complete during the transfer window were the arrivals of Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven from Lecce and Arsenal, respectively. As a result of United not signing a striker, rumours are starting to emerge claiming that a move for a new centre forward will be on the agenda in the summer.

Sesko is one player to be mentioned on the rumour mill for United over the last few months. Arsenal have also been listed as showing an interest in signing the Slovenia international, and now a major update has emerged over the striker's future.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Leipzig are becoming increasingly accepting that Sesko may leave the club in the summer. It has been suggested that Leipzig chief Oliver Mintzlaff was initially determined to keep Sesko at the club but has now changed his stance, suggesting that Sesko may be allowed to join a new team after all.
Sesko signed a new contract with Leipzig last summer amid intense interest that he may have left the Bundesliga club. The old contract was reported to have a €65million (£54million) release clause, which has now been removed as part of the extension.
There are now suggestions that Sesko is now valued at around £70million by Leipzig, but it remains to be seen if the German outfit will sanction the striker's exit in the summer. Despite rumoured interest from United, it has been hinted that Arsenal and Chelsea may be ahead of the Reds in the race to complete a deal.
