Mohamed Salah drops yet another Liverpool exit hint in Premier League title message
Mohamed Salah has dropped yet another hint that his time at Liverpool could be coming to an end, having doubled down on his desire to win the Premier League this season.
Salah’s future at Anfield remains up in the air as his contract ticks down, with just a few months remaining now before his current deal expires. The Egyptian is of course one of three players in that position, alongside Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Although previous reports suggested that Salah was close to signing an extension, the 32-year-old has insisted that isn’t the case when interviewed recently, with he and the club seemingly still a long way away from an agreement.

What’s more, speculation has grown recently that a move to Saudi Arabia could be in the works, with Al-Hilal being linked as representatives from the Pro League become more brazen in their attempts to lure Salah to the Middle East.
To add to Liverpool fans’ worries, the winger has indicated on several occasions that he could be in his final year at the club, and his latest message in the matchday programme ahead of the clash with Ipswich will not ease any concerns over his or his teammates’ futures.
“My motivation this year was really to win a trophy and be a big part of winning that trophy, especially the Premier League,” Salah said. “I still believe that the team needs another trophy because almost half of the team that had been here when we won it has left.
“There is still me, Virgil, Trent, Ali [Alisson Becker], Joe [Gomez] and Robbo [Andy Robertson], so it’s five or six players left (from 2019/2020). So I think it’s necessary to win another trophy before we all go.
“I think we need another one. We won almost everything but we won it (the Premier League) only once so hopefully we can win it twice. It would be great.”
Liverpool.com says: Winning it more than twice would be even better Mo.
That doesn’t exactly feel like a message that suggests Salah and co are planning to stay much longer at Anfield. Hopefully he ends up signing that contract along with Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold, but the longer this goes on, the more it feels like we’re watching their swansong - and by the sounds of it, Alisson, Gomez and Robertson might not be too far behind them.
