Why Fulham vs Man United has unusual kick-off time this weekend
Manchester United supporters will be watching their side take on Fulham at the unusual kick-off time of 7pm this Sunday in the Premier League.
The fixture time is a strange one for supporters with usual fixtures on a Sunday kicking off at 2pm and 4:30pm. However, due to this game being picked by TNT Sports for live coverage, the kick-off time has been pushed back to 7pm.
Normally, TNT Sports' Premier League coverage is on a Saturday lunchtime but because the Reds were in action against Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday night, that slot was off the table. The match could not be played earlier as a midday kick-off would have also been deemed too soon for player recovery.

The 2pm and 4:30pm were also off the table as that would clash with Sky Sports' Super Sunday coverage of Brentford vs Crystal Palace and Aston Villa vs West Ham. Monday night matches are often reserved for Sky too but even if not, it would leave a tight turnaround for the Europa League clash with FCSB next week.
Therefore, the only option remaining was to play the fixture in the reserve spot of 7pm. This decision has understandably caused frustration for supporters travelling to the match via train.
The final train back to Manchester on Sunday departs at 9:24pm from London Euston. That is roughly half an hour after the final whistle is expected but the journey from Craven Cottage to the station is roughly an hour by public transport meaning that route home is not an option for supporters wanting to watch the full match.
On the pitch, United will be determined to take their late winner against Rangers into the Premier League as they continue to mope in the bottom half of the Premier League.
