Paul Warne made four changes to his starting XI as Derby County went in search of victory against Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon.

Corey Blackett-Taylor, Kayden Jackson, Callum Elder and Kenzo Goudmijn dropped to the bench as Ben Osborn, Jerry Yates, Craig Forsyth and Liam Thompson all came into the side.

Despite the changes, Derby will continue to play a back four with Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in goal behind the defence of Kane Wilson, Curtis Nelson, Eiran Cashin and Forsyth.

Ebou Adams, Osborn and Thompson are expected to be the midfield three with Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, Marcus Harness and Yates expected to make up the attack.

On the bench, Warne has plenty of scope to make strong changes with Blackett-Taylor, Jackson, Elder, Goudmijn, Tom Barkhuizen, James Collins, Nat Phillips, Josh Vickers and Dajaune Brown making up the subs.

Mendez-Laing has motivation to perform well today with the winger having previously played for the Owls before leaving to join Derby in the summer of 2022 when the club came out of administration.

Derby (4-3-3): Zetterstrom, Wilson, Nelson, Cashin, Forsyth; Adams, Thompson, Osborn; Mendez-Laing, Yates, Harness

Subs: Blackett-Taylor, Jackson, Elder, Goudmijn, Barkhuizen, Collins, Phillips, Vickers and Brown
