Jimmy Fallon mocks Sharks, Penguins in Cup Final superlatives (Video)

Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon often plays an important role in bringing humor to the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.

His “superlatives” on team players are always a must-watch. On Wednesday night’s show, Fallon hilariously skewered several players on both the San Jose Sharks and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Fallon found a new superlative for Logan Couture after previously calling him the “Croatian Tom Cruise” and “Sexy Gilbert Gottfried” earlier in the postseason. It’s clear he seems to enjoy making fun of Couture’s mug shot.

Also, the crowd and Fallon seemed to really like Patrick Marleau’s photo. They both giggled with glee before his superlative. He had also been previously called “Most Likely To Be The Love Child of George W. Bush and Robert Deniro.”

Fallon also did superlatives for Penguins defensemen Ben Lovejoy, Ian Cole and Justin Schultz, Sharks forward Melker Karlsson and Pittsburgh forward Oskar Sundqvist.
