Linus Omark produces spectacular goal for Sweden at Karjala Cup (Video)

YouTube

If Dominique Wilkins was the human highlight-reel for basketball, Linus Omark has owned that crown for hockey. Hockey fans have been subjected to his spectacular goals for years now, and he added another one to his long resume on Saturday.

Playing for Sweden in the annual Karjala Cup, Omark scored the tying goal against Russia in pretty, pretty fashion.

Via Robert Soderlind:

The lack of celebration on Omark’s part is basically him saying, “Yeah, done that before. Probably could have executed a bit better, but whatevs.”

The goal caused Hockey Sverige EIC and friend of Puck Daddy Uffe Bodin to Tweet what could probably double as Omark’s nickname:

Russia would go on to beat the defending champs 6-3.
