Philippe Clement says he's hopeful that Abdallah Sima will still have a part to play in the title run-in.

The on-loan Brighton winger only recently returned to action from a hamstring injury but faces another spell on the sidelines after hobbling off early in Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final win over Hearts. Sima, 22, will definitely miss upcoming games against St Mirren and Kilmarnock but Rangers boss Clement has his fingers crossed that the Senegalese winger will be back before the campaign ends.

Clement also revealed that Rabbi Matondo will likely miss this weekend's trip to Paisley with a knock but confirmed Ridvan Yilmaz and Ryan Jack will return to full training next week.

Speaking ahead of Sunday's clash against the Buddies, Clement said: "Sima will be out. We're in contact with Brighton about that in the next couple of weeks. I hope to see him playing again this season, and he hopes also. He's very motivated about that. He's a terrific lad, someone with a strong mental strength and a really positive person, so he takes it and he wants to come back as fast as possible.

"Rabbi Matondo also had a bad tackle during that game against Hearts, so he's doubtful for the weekend. Ridvan Yilmaz and Ryan Jack I expect back in training next week."
