Ada head soccer coach Cole Jones liked what he saw from the Cougars in the win over the Tigers.

"We had five different goal scorers along with a lot of contributors to the win," Jones told The Ada News. "I am hoping for both boys and girls to have a good showing at the tournament."

Ada senior Caden Mitchell turned in a hat trick for the Cougars with three goals. Steven Stout and Tyler Walker added two scores apiece. The Cougars also got goals from Braden Holloway and Blake Vick.

After this weekend's tournament, the Ada girls travel to Cushing next Tuesday and both teams are scheduled to host Shawnee on April 5 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
