"We played hard and even though we started off to slow start, we went into halftime up 1-0," said Ada head soccer coach Cole Jones. "In the second half, we started playing much better."

Ada scored three times in the final frame.

"We moved the ball well all night. Despite having tons of shots, we couldn't find the back of the net until late in the first half," Cole said.

Like the girls before them, the Cougars led just 1-0 at the intermission.

"The second half was much better. We possessed the ball the whole time and put four more in the net in the second half.".

The Cougars got two goals apiece from Tyler Walker and Steven Stout and another score from Bryce Wood.

"Emilio Benton played extremely well in the middle with two assists," Cole said.
