Alan Brazil mocks Rangers as Celtic-daft pundit beams at 'three points already' troll

Alan Brazil has mocked Rangers and celebrated "three points already" after the fixtures confirmed Celtic would play the first derby of the season at home.

The Hoops-daft talkSPORT presenter lapped up the SPFL announcements this morning when the clubs' schedules were confirmed. Both Glasgow rivals will square-off in the first clash of the titans on August 31 at Parkhead and Brazil has already counted his chickens as he trolled Gers.

The pundit reckons it's an easy victory for his beloved club as he and Gabby Agbonlahor discussed the calendar and the opening derby day where Brazil believes Gers need more new signings in the door than Celts.

"First Old Firm derby is the 31st August at Celtic Park. Lovely," Brazil said. "Music to my ears. That's three points right away. Get in. They meet again at Ibrox on the 2nd of January. That's a big game. Listen, it was fairly tight in the end last season wasn't it?"

Agbonlahor added: "They need to do better in the derby games. Whenever they [Rangers] play Celtic now, Celtic are looking like the favourites aren't they?" to which Brazil continued: "I have not really kept up to date - because of the Euros - who is in and who is out in terms of who is buying. It is totally different up there. They don't have the money or resources."

Agbonlahor said: "Rangers need more than Celtic I would imagine?"

And Brazil concluded: "They do."
