Albion Rrahmani Rangers transfer price tag revealed as insider 'convinced' of summer Rapid Bucharest exit

Rangers could be forced to stump up around £6million to land Albion Rrahmani this summer - with an insider CONVINCED the striker will leave Rapid Bucharest.

The Ibrox outfit have been linked with a move for the Kosovo international with recruitment chief Nils Koppen a fan of his talents. That has left new Rapid boss - and former Celtic man - Neil Lennon on high alert as he's set to lose his star man, but the manager will hold out for top dollar.

Romanian agent Cristian Cernodolea believes Rrahmani won't stick around for long with offers already on the table for the player. And he projected how much the player is worth to the club.

"Knowing the market and what is happening in the market, I am absolutely convinced that Rrahmani will leave this summer. I know Rapid has offers on the table," he told GSP.

"There are many teams that came to see him, important teams, they had their scouts at matches in Bucharest. I’m sure some of them were impressed, I have information on that.

“If I had to estimate, I would say that at this point I’m almost convinced Rapid has between €5 and €6 million (around £4.5million) on the table for Rrahmani. And I don’t think they will sell him for that amount. The club is aiming for somewhere around €7 to €8 million (around £6million).”
