Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak is open to one day showcasing his talent in the Premier League.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have all been linked to the Sweden international in the gossip columns following his rise from first club AIK to a LaLiga title challenge.

A teenage starlet, Isak chose Borussia Dortmund over a move to Real Madrid in 2017 before a switch to La Real. In his third season in San Sebastian, the 22-year-old has scored five goals with Sociedad topping LaLiga after one defeat in their opening 12 games.

That could launch the rumour mill into overdrive when January swings around but Isak has insisted he is happy in Spain, with a move to the Premier League something he would consider further down the line.

He told The Independent: “I’m in a good place at the moment, I’m very happy, but one day it would be nice to play in England as well.

“They have six or seven of the biggest clubs in the world, it’s a very high level, and of course one day it would be an alternative.

“Every player wants to be the best version of themselves and reach the highest possible level.

“I have expectations for myself that I’m trying to fulfil, so we’ll see where the journey takes me in future.”
