When is Andy Murray playing at Wimbledon? Start time and TV channel for doubles match today

Andy Murray is in action at Wimbledon later today, playing a doubles match alongside his brother, Jamie.

Murray pulled out of singles competition after failing to recover from surgery to have a spinal cyst removed.

The 37-year-old had already confirmed it would have been his last appearance at SW19 but the story is not yet over.

He and Jamie Murray will team up for the second time in their careers, having previously done so in a Battle of the Brits in 2022 when the Scots took on English duo Dan Evans and Neal Skupski.

The duo will meet Rinky Hijikata and John Peers on Centre Court.

Emma Raducanu will also join Andy in the mixed doubles later this month.

When is Andy Murray and Jamie Murray vs Rinky Hijikata and John Peers

The match will be the third of the day on Centre Court later today on Thursday 4 July, 2024.

It follows Novak Djokovic’s meeting with British wildcard Jacob Fearnley and then women’s World No 1 Iga Swiatek clash against Petra Martic.

Play is due to start at 1.30pm BST, so the Murray brothers could be underway at 5pm.

TV channel: The match will be broadcast live in the UK free-to-air on BBC One, with coverage running through to 6pm. The remainder of the the match will be shown on BBC Two.
