Will there be another season of Snowflake Mountain?
If there's one thing we all seem to be obsessing over lately, it's Netflix's new reality TV series: Snowflake Mountain, which follows "ten spoiled young adults" who must learn to fend for themselves "without a parental safety net." It's basically an outdoorsy version of BBC Three's iconic Young, Dumb, and Living Off Mum – just me who remembers that show? – and has already created quite the stir on social media.
The first episode got off to a seriously dramatic start when the contestants' suitcases appeared to go up in flames (literally) in an attempt to show them not too care too much about material possessions. I mean, we're hooked OK?
So err, will Netflix renew season two of Snowflake Mountain? Here's what we know so far:
Has Snowflake Mountain season two been confirmed?
Netflix has yet to confirm or deny whether there will be another season of Snowflake Mountain, but we reckon the odds are good.
At the time of writing (27 June), the reality survival series is in the top five of Netflix's TV programmes viewed in the UK and the hashtag #SnowflakeMountain already has a whopping 1.1 million views on TikTok – there's certainly an appetite for a second series.
Netflix has already delighted reality TV fans by confirming that Selling Sunset will be returning for two (!) more seasons. And if reality TV isn't your bag, the streaming giant has also confirmed that fan-favourites including Heartstopper, Emily in Paris, and Never Have I Ever will be returning to our screens soon.
When is Snowflake Mountain season two expected to be released?
Sadly we don't have a release date for Snowflake Mountain yet... It all depends on when the show goes into production after it's been renewed. Once it goes into production, we can probably expect a wait of about a year. Or maybe they've already filmed season two and are going to surprise us with it ASAP. We can dream.
Who will star in Snowflake Mountain season two?
If Snowflake Mountain is renewed, we can probably expect the tough-love explorers Joel Graves and Matt Tate to return. And then we can look forward to a fresh batch of snowflakes.
Is there a trailer for Snowflake Mountain season two?
Nope, not yet. But you can keep yourself entertained with the trailer for season one (and then re-watch the first season again, obvs).
