Anthony Davis seen working out on Staples Center court, could return to Lakers next week

Anthony Davis is back on the Staples Center court, and it could only be a week before he's playing with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers star was seen working out before the team's game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday, dribbling and taking shots by himself:

Davis working out is a welcome sight for the Lakers, who have been without him since Feb. 14 and without LeBron James since March 20. Davis has been out with a right calf strain.

The Lakers have at least managed to stay afloat since losing both, going 6-7 in 13 games without the pair, but having them healthy and ready for the playoffs is obviously vital for the Lakers' hopes at a title repeat.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said before Thursday's game that Davis' return to could come quite soon, possibly during the team's next two games against the Utah Jazz. After their games against the Jazz, the Lakers are scheduled to face the Dallas Mavericks on April 22 and 24.

Davis will be on a minutes restriction whenever he comes back:

Even better for the Lakers, James reportedly isn't too far behind.
