Arsenal's Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 season have been confirmed.

The Gunners will kick off their season at the Emirates Stadium once again as they take on Gary O’Neil’s Wolverhampton Wanderers. Arsenal took six points off the West Midlands club last season, including a 2-1 home win which will gives supporters encouragement of another winning start to the campaign.

However, after this comes a run of tricky opening fixtures with a trip to Aston Villa to avenge the defeat at Villa Park last season followed by the hosting of a newly managed Brighton & Hove Albion. Then comes two big clashes with the away North London Derby and then a trip to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City.

Arsenal’s title credentials will be tested from the off this season compared to what was a relatively comfortable run at the start of the previous campaign. However, should Mikel Arteta navigate these five games successfully, it could set up the side perfectly for a renewed title challenge.

The festive period from December 21 to January 4 contains four matches in the league for Arsenal: Crystal Palace (A) Ipswich Town (H) Brentford (A) Brighton (A). This was where the most points were dropped by Arteta’s side in their failed title push in 2023/24 and will be scrutinised again as the club hope to go one step further.

While the start of the season for Arsenal is a tough one, it does balance out much nicer toward the end. The reverse fixtures with Man City, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea all take place in the first three months of the new year.

Arsenal’s last nine games contain just one ‘Big Six’ side - Liverpool. However, their trip to Anfield is part of a final three-game run proceeding the final two games at home to Newcastle United and then a final day away trip to the south coast to face newly-promoted Southampton.
