Arsenal have agreed a £15million deal with Anderlecht to sign Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Talks with Anderlecht reached a breakthrough this week after an opening offer for £13m was rejected.

Lokonga will now undergo a medical in Belgium before traveling to England, where he will have to self-isolate before joining his new team-mates.

Arsenal will pay £15m up front with further performance-related add-ons expected.

The Gunners are also looking to wrap up the signing of Benfica left-back Nuno Tavares this week with Mikel Arteta targeting a back-up for Kieran Tierney.

Tavares is already in London, having arrived over the weekend after the Gunners agreed a deal for the 21-year-old that could eventually be worth £8.5million.

The left-back is currently quarantining in the UK, as per Government guidelines.

Arsenal continue to work on a deal for Brighton and England defender Ben White, with confidence an agreement can be reached in the region of £54m.
