Arsenal fans have been waiting to get their own back on Troy Deeney since October, and Hector Bellerin led the charge as the Watford captain had a day to forget on Sunday.

Watford beat Arsenal 2-1 at Vicarage Road earlier this season, with Deeney scoring a penalty after Bellerin was judged to have fouled Richarlison.

Tom Cleverley's injury-time winner left Arsene Wenger furious with the "scandalous" penalty decision, but Deeney accused Arsenal of lacking "cojones" in an extraordinary post-match sit-down with BT Sport.

The Watford had also poked fun at Bellerin after the game, suggesting the wing-back "couldn't see what he's doing [because] he had his long hair in the way".

Unfortunately for Deeney though, the table were turned in Sunday's Premier League clash. With Watford 2-0 down at the Emirates, Ainsley Maitland-Niles conceded a spot-kick for a clumsy challenge on Roberto Pereyra.

Deeney once again stepped up against Cech, but the veteran goalkeeper easily saved his weak effort, with Arsenal going on to win the match 3-0 - with Cech recording his 200th Premier League clean sheet.

And Deeney's comments came back to haunt him, with Bellerin quote-tweeting BT Sport's interview with the Watford captain along with the caption: "Looks like you couldn't see today either @T_Deeney".
