Arsenal are fighting hard to land at least one more major signing in a busy summer of transfer activity in north London.

Talks for Sandro Tonali are underway, according to reports in Italy, with Youri Tielemans and Yeremy Pino also targeted.

Up front, Manchester United are set to rival Arsenal for Dutch youngster Cody Gakpo.

A fee of £46.5million may be enough to tempt the Italian champions into selling one of their star midfielders, as reported by Calcio Mercato.

Such a deal would allow Milan to make two signings of their own, it is claimed, making the notion more palatable given Tonali’s status in the side.
