Arsenal’s EFL Cup final clash with Manchester City has been confirmed for February 25 at 4.30pm, the Football League have confirmed.

Arsene Wenger’s side earned a place in the final after coming from behind to beat Cheslea 2-1 in the second-leg of the semi-final on Wednesday evening. An Antonio Rudiger own goal, and a Granit Xhaka strike was enough for the Gunners.

Manchester City carried a 2-1 lead into the second leg of the semi-final against Bristol City on Tuesday evening. The away side went 2-0 ahead just after half-time, but Marlon Pack and Aden Flint made it 2-2 on the night and 4-3 on aggregate to Pep Guardiola’s side. City’s star man Kevin De Bruyne scared late on to make it 5-3 on aggregate, taking the Cityzens to the final.

The EFL have also announced that Arsenal supporters have been given the west end of the stadium, with Manchester City fans occupying the opposite east end.

Tickets for the final will only be on sale through the two clubs in the final, with Wembley Stadium and the EFL not selling tickets for the game.
