Arsenal XI vs Leicester: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and latest injuries for Premier League today
Mikel Arteta has been able to name an unchanged lineup from Arsenal’s last Premier League game, after several players recovered in time from a stomach bug in the camp.
“It was a bit of sickness and feeling tummy aches and stuff like that,” said manager Mikel Arteta on Friday morning. “Hopefully, everybody will be okay.”
Arteta declined to name the players affected but Ben White was known to be among them, having been forced off with the illness during the Carabao Cup win over Leeds in midweek. However, the £50m summer signing is fit to return.
Left-back Kieran Tierney remains out with an ankle injury so another summer addition, Nuno Tavares, starts at left-back again, while Alexandre Lacazette’s good form sees his run in the team continue.
Arsenal starting XI (4-4-2): Ramsdale; Tomiyasu, White, Gabriel, Tavares; Partey, Lokonga, Saka, Smith Rowe; Aubameyang, Lacazette
Injured: Xhaka
Doubts: White, Odegaard, Tierney
Date: Saturday, October 30, 12:30pm BST
Venue: King Power Stadium
Referee: Michael Oliver
