With Europa League progress already assured, Manchester United make the long trip to Nur-Sultan to meet Astana with a young squad.

As many as ten of the travelling party could make first-team club debuts, while Lee Grant may start in goal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side top Group L having won three and drawn one of their four group games so far.

They beat Astana, who are yet to record a point in the group, 1-0 at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture.

With the busy festive schedule fast approaching and progression out of the group stages already secured, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to rotate his squad. Both David De Gea and Sergio Romero have not travelled, which means Lee Grant is in line for a first start in goal.

Ten of the travelling squad are in line for a first team debut in Kazakhstan, with young centre-half Teden Mengi set for a starting berth. Luke Shaw may return at left-back after recovering from injury.
