Astana look to get off the mark in this season’s Europa League as they welcome Manchester United to the Astana Arena.

The Kazakh side pushed United close at Old Trafford, with only a late Mason Greenwood winner separating the two sides.

The visitors bring a particularly young squad, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s team already assured of a place in the next round of the competition.

As many as ten of the travelling party could make first-team club debuts, while Lee Grant may start in goal.

Here is everything you need to know about the Europa League clash.

Odds

Astana 3/1

Draw 11/4

Manchester United 19/20

Prediction

A young Manchester United side may find it tough going against Astana, who are a better side than their Europa League record suggests. 1-1 is our prediction.

Team News

With the busy festive schedule fast approaching and progression out of the group stages already secured, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to rotate his squad. Both David De Gea and Sergio Romero have not travelled, which means Lee Grant is in line for a first start in goal.

Ten of the travelling squad are in line for a first team debut in Kazakhstan, with young centre-half Teden Mengi set for a starting berth. Luke Shaw may return at left-back after recovering from injury.

Confirmed line-up

Manchester United: Grant, Laird, Bernard, Tuanzebe, Shaw, Garner, Levitt, Chong, Lingard, Gomes, Greenwood.
