Manchester United will attempt to build some momentum with a win over Atalanta tonight.

The Champions League clash at La Dea’s Gewiss Stadium kicks off at 8pm GMT with the Red Devils top of Group F ahead of the game. Villarreal, at home to Young Boys at the same time, sit two points back alongside Atalanta.

Saturday’s 3-0 win over Tottenham provided a huge boost to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players’ confidence, Cristiano Ronaldo scoring before Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford sealed the win.

It was Ronaldo who hit the winner in United’s Champions League comeback against Atalanta last month. The Italians led by two goals at the break and yet failed to take away what would have been a vital three points.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have since gone three games unbeaten in Serie A and drew 2-2 with Lazio at the weekend.
