B-G, Edmeston boys each notch big league victories

Jan. 26—The Bainbridge-Guilford boys basketball team took down Harpursville 61-35 at home Friday in a Midstate Athletic Conference contest.

James Hogroian led the way with 24 points for the Bobcats while Michael Lipani scored 13 and Isaiah Hampton added eight.

Xander Quick was Harpursville's top scorer with 11 points.

B-G will be at Candor Saturday.

Edmeston 62, Sharon Springs 17

Edmeston defeated Sharon Springs 62-17 at home Friday in Tri-Valley League action.

Izek Richards had a game-high 14 points in the win while Gavin McEnroe scored eight.

Mike Cashman led SS with seven points in the loss.

Edmeston will visit Gilbertsville-Mount Upton Tuesday while Sharon Springs will host Loudonville Christian Monday.

Richfield Springs clipped Schenevus 50-39 on the road Thursday in a Tri-Valley League matchup.

Aiden Dibble led the Eagles with 14 points while Bradyn Dunckel scored 11 and Alex Baker and Landen Schultz each added nine.

Lucien Kortekaas paced Schenevus with 13 points while Ryan Spranger finished with 10.

Richfield Springs will host Worcester Tuesday while Schenevus will be at home against Gilboa the same day.

BOWLING

The Bainbridge-Guilford bowling teams split their matches against Deposit Thursday with the boys winning 3-0 and the girls falling 3-0.

Ryan Larsen led the B-G boys with an overall series of 549. Also topping 500 for the Bobcats were Jake Lyle (540), Joey Doyle (527) and Collin Dicks (514).

Justin Lanner led the Deposit boys with a series of 434.

On the girls side, Deposit's Abby Johnson finished with a score of 443 to lead the victory.

Tabitha Doyle had the high score for B-G with a 450 while Railey O'Dell rolled a 433.
