Barcelona begin life without Ernesto Valverde as new head coach Quique Setien is in the Camp Nou dugout against Granada this evening.

Barca's Supercopa semi-final defeat to Atletico Madrid was the final straw as Valverde was sent packing on Monday, despite the Blaugrana currently sitting top of LaLiga.

Setien has been brought in to restore Barca's footballing identity, and the Camp Nou faithful will be hoping to see a little of the 'Total Football' that the Cruyff disciple adheres to.

Date: Sunday January 19, 2020.

Venue: Camp Nou, Barcelona.

Kick-off time: 8pm GMT

Prediction: Barcelona 3-0 Granada

While Granada will not offer Barca a walkover, the visitors sit 10th in the table with a goal difference of zero. The Barca squad will want to impress Setien from the off, so a comfortable home win should be on the cards.

Team news

Luis Suarez is out for the next four months for Barca, so Setien faces an immediate conundrum up front - and Ansu Fati could be the answer.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Arthur Melo were back in first-team training on Thursday. The goalkeeper should return to the starting XI, but the game could come too soon for Arthur.

Head to head (H2H) history and results

Granada are yet to beat Barca away in 23 visits to Camp Nou, losing every single game - and they have not scored on their last five trips.
