Alan Burrows admits Aberdeen are braced for bids for top scorer Bojan Miovski. But the Dons chief executive has warned potential buyers he'll come at a hefty cost.

Miovski is hot property after netting 26 goals last season and has been scouted by several clubs over the last 12 months including Celtic, Southampton and Feyenoord. Burrows wants the North Macedonia international to stay at Pittodrie for as long as possible but accepts the 25-year-old has a price.

Miovski still has two years to run on his Aberdeen contract and while Burrows expects clubs to step up their interest in the coming weeks, he's vowed to hold out for a lucrative fee.

He said: "There have been no offers. We've had nothing. We have already said that Bojan has done really well and will court a lot of interest. We would love Bojan to stay here for as long as he can because he is a fantastic striker.

"We also understand there is a lot of interest in him. That might make it difficult to try and keep him for an extended period of time, given that he still has two years left.

"Market forces and our model means more attractive offers might come in the fullness of time. We have to make sure whether it is Duk, Bojan or Connor Barron we are trying to maximise our values for Aberdeen Football Club. That is what we will be looking to do in this and future windows."
