SAINTS have been billed by the bookies as the most fancied of the three promoted teams ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Russell Martin's side won promotion back to the Premier League via the playoffs after just one season in the Championship.

Leicester City won the second tier last campaign, while Ipswich Town completed a historic double promotion with a second-place finish.

However, despite finishing fourth in the Championship, Saints have been given the best odds of survival by bookmakers this summer.

On Sky Bet, Leicester are 1/2 to be relegated, while Ipswich are 8/11 and Saints have odds longer than evens at 11/8.

The Foxes - under new management after the exit of Enzo Maresca - are favourites for the drop due to a potential points deduction they face.

Everton are priced next as fourth-favourites for the drop at 7/4, with Nottingham Forest at 2/1 and Wolves at 7/2.

Brentford (9/2), Fulham (5/1), Bournemouth (7/1), Crystal Palace (8/1), West Ham (16/1) and Chelsea (16/1) are the next teams priced up.

Man City, who have won the league the last four times in a row, are also priced at 16/1 due to the Premier League's 115 charges hanging over them.

Saints have been priced at 80/1 to achieve an unlikely top-four finish, with shorter odds than Ipswich (100/1) and Leicester (150/1).
