Bookmaker pays out on Jose Mourinho being sacked as Manchester United manager
One high-profile bookmaker has decided to pay out on Jose Mourinho being sacked as Manchester United manager.
The Special One suffered his heaviest ever home defeat as a manager last night as Tottenham ran out 3-0 winners at Old Trafford.
It is the first time the Red Devils have lost two of their opening three Premier League fixtures since the 1992-93 campaign.
They went on to lift the title that season but Paddy Power are convinced Mourinho cannot replicate Sir Alex Ferguson’s success.
The Irish bookmaker tweeted: “Manchester United were a shambles tonight. We’ve seen enough. We’re paying out on Jose Mourinho to be the first Premier League manager to go.”
A furious Mourinho stormed out of his post-match press conference after taking exception to a journalist’s line of questioning.

He said: “I won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together. Three for me and two for them.
“Respect, respect, respect man.
Manchester United were a shambles tonight. We've seen enough. Were paying out on Jose Mourinho to be the first Premier League manager to go. #SackRace

“You want to make the miracle of my team played so well and strategically we were so, so, so, so, so, so good and you want to try and transform this press conference into let’s blame the guy.
“When I win matches I come here many times and you are not happy that I win matches and you say the most important is the way of playing.”
Mourinho, should he remain in charge, will take United to Turf Moor on Sunday in what looks an increasingly crucial match for the club.
