Bundesliga: Dortmund want quick resolution to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang future

Borussia Dortmund want quick resolution to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang future amid Arsenal links

Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Stoger hopes a “solution” is reached “soon” over the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang amid links to Arsenal.

Arsenal are currently making moves to bring the forward to north London as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, whose switch to Manchester United was confirmed earlier this week.

A £44m offer has been made but Dortmund are said to be holding out for £60m.

With less than a week left until the transfer window closes, Arsenal are working against the clock to seal the deal. But Stoger has not ruled out Aubameyang’s departure, with the Germans eager to move the player on given his disruptive presence at the club.

He said: "I can only say that we would soon like to have a solution to this situation.

"Whatever the outcome of this matter, everyone would agree that whatever brings clarity will help the team."
