Brentford boss Thomas Frank is hoping Bryan Mbeumo will be fit to start tomorrow’s clash with Norwich.

Mbeumo has been struggling with a hamstring issue and he was an unused substitute during last weekend’s defeat to Burnley.

The forward has impressed this season in the Premier League and Frank is hoping he will be available for tomorrow’s match at home to Norwich.

“If everything goes well on Friday, Bryan Mbeumo should be okay to start,” said Frank.

Brentford are looking to get back to winning ways after losing their last three Premier League games.

Frank has never beaten Norwich, who won the Championship last season, but he is hoping to break his duck this weekend.

“Very few teams get relegated and then get up again by winning the Championship,” he said.

“I have never managed to win against Norwich, I am very aware that we have a big task ahead of us.”
