Brentford are taking on Fulham tonight in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, as the two west London clubs battle for a lucrative spot in next season’s Premier League.

For Brentford, securing a place in the top flight would be an historic moment having not been at English football’s highest level since the 1940s, and coinciding with the club’s move to a new stadium next season. They have played some brilliant football at times this season under manager Thomas Frank, and have beaten Fulham twice, but Scott Parker has a well-drilled Fulham side who match Brentford for Championship points and have several players who have been here and done this before.
