The biggest night in British music is back!
The event will feature an actual audience, as it is being put on as part of the Government’s Events Research Programme - which is looking in to ways of bringing back live events safely post-pandemic.
As many as 4,000 people will be attending tonight - 2,500 of whom are hero key workers who won tickets through a ballot.
As there has been mass testing, there will be no need for social distancing at the event.
But when is it on? How can you watch it? Whose playing? And who is nominated?
Here’s what you need to know.
When are the BRITs?
The BRIT Awards 2021, which is sponsored by Mastercard once again this year, will be held at The O2 Arena London.
The event starts at 8pm BST - with the red carpet expected to start as early at 4.30pm. You can follow it all on our live blog.
How can I watch the Brits ceremony live?
Unless you have already got a ticket, there is no way to get in to the ceremony in person now.
But thankfully, the BRIT Awards will be be shown live on ITV - or you can watch it on demand on the ITV Hub.
Viewers can expect a live show - with performances from Coldplay, The Weeknd plus Rag’n’Bone Man, P!nk and the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir among the stars taking to the stage.
The award-winning band, fronted by Chris Martin, will play new single Higher Power from a pontoon close to the 02.
Arlo Parks, Dua Lipa, Griff, Headie One and Olivia Rodrigo and Rag’n’Bone Man and P!nk with the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir on the billing for the event.
Comedian Jack Whitehall is hosting for the fourth time.
He said ahead of the ceremony: “It really is always an honour to do it but this year feels even more special.
“I must be doing something right to be invited back.
“This is about celebrating all the artists that made the music which helped us get through what’s been a b*d of a year. It’s also now just a nice excuse to get out of the house and put on a suit.
“I’d honestly have done it if they’d held it in a field with just me and Craig David.”
Who is nominated?
This year is great for women artists - four of the five nominees for best album, one of the biggest awards of the night, are female.
Arlo Parks, Celeste and Dua Lipa are all the most nominated - with three nods each. Dua Lipa is nominated in best female solo artist, best album and her track Physical is nominated in the best single category.
Celeste and Arlo Parks will battle it out for best female solo artist, breakthrough and best album.
Jessie Ware is nominated twice - best album and best female solo artist
