Brock Lesnar Confirmed to Return at UFC 200

The rumors are no longer rumors, former heavyweight champion and WWE superstar Brock Lesnar is returning to the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Lesnar will return at the already stacked UFC 200: Cormier vs. Jones 2 fight card on July 9 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. UFC officials announced Lesnar's return during Saturday night's UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping 2 pay-per-view.

As of the announcement, the UFC did not yet have an opponent finalized for Lesnar, and has little time to get one with UFC 200 a month away.

Having battled diverticulitis during his last stint in the UFC, Lesnar has spent the past few years in the WWE. He hasn't fought in the Octagon since losing to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 on Dec. 31, 2011.

Also announced during the UFC 199 broadcast was the Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor rematch, which has been signed for UFC 202 on Aug. 20.
