Burger King and 'gun battles': how Mayweather and McGregor are preparing for the big fight
With less than a week to go until the big fight, one would expect Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather to be observing strict diets and squeezing in last-minute gym sessions.
But Mayweather and McGregor are both indulging in some unconventional pre-fight prep ahead of August 26th's Las Vegas bout, according to a new documentary on the fight.
In a UFC-produced video series called 'Mayweather vs McGregor: Embedded', a film crew follow the two fighters around as they count down to the most anticipated fight in decades.
In one scene, Mayweather appears to scoff a Burger King burger during a trip to a Las Vegas maul.
"Im eating Burger King baby, whatsupp? Got to keep that weight on!" he jokes.
"I just want to say thank you Dana White, for bringing that b**** to the table!"
Mayweather finishes off the burger before handing the litter to a burly member of Mayweather's security team.
The documentary then turns its focus to McGregor as he attempts to get in shape for his first ever professional boxing match.
In one scene McGregor and his entourage unwind with a 'gun battle' using pistols and blanks.
At one point the Irishman recoils as one of the shots registers on his vest, triggering an electric shot: "Ah! You got me right in the belly button!"
With just four days to go until the fight, McGregor has reiterated his belief that he will 'flatten' Mayweather inside two rounds.
"I wouldn't be surprised if I go out there and flatten him in the first exchange, I don't see him lasting two rounds in these 8oz gloves,"said McGregor.
"Part of me wants to showcase a little more, we'll see, I don't believe he will last two rounds - believe he will be unconscious before then."
