Burnley host Leicester in an interesting game at Turf Moor in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

The Clarets were beaten handily by Tottenham last time out, with Gareth Bale arguably producing his best form yet since returning from Real Madrid.

But Sean Dyche’s side will be eager to bounce back here, and they face the Foxes with Brendan Rodgers coping with a number of injury concerns, namely the loss of Harvey Barnes to a serious knee injury.

Arsenal inflicted defeat on Leicester last time out, but they remain in a strong position to capture a top four finish and qualification to the Champions League next season, with the reverse fixture, a 4-2 win at the King Power Stadium, providing additional confidence.

Dyche has been discussing the impact of the intense schedule this season, which he claims has limited the potential to implement creative training methods with the Clarets this season: “Managers used to have real free rein and trust.

“Now it’s slightly different. Not so much here, because I’ve been here a long time, but directors of football want to know your training schedules and what you’re doing. If you say you’re going down the Trent for an ice cream I’m not sure that always goes down well, although ironically sometimes it is needed to deload the players.

“Now it is more of a professional relentlessness. This is what you get paid for, this is your job, this is this is the schedule and these are the challenges. Buckle up and get on with it, end of.”
