Mauricio Pochettino knows Tottenham need a top performance on Saturday if they are to take any Premier League points away from Burnley.

Sean Dyche's side sit 13th in the table almost purely down to their superb home record, with the Clarets picking up 29 of their 32 points this season at Turf Moor - including a recent 1-1 draw with table-toppers Chelsea.

Burnley are not safe from relegation yet with just eight points separating them from the drop zone, and are winless in their last seven league games.

Tottenham have won seven of their last 10 as they look to tighten their grip on second place, but Turf Moor could prove an unforgiving ground this weekend - particularly without the injured Harry Kane.

Tottenham are hoping that Danny Rose will be able to return from his knee injury in early April, though a physically draining encounter with Burnley could prove too soon for the left-back.

Harry Kane (ankle) and Erik Lamela (hip) remain sidelined for Spurs, while Vincent Janssen is a doubt after withdrawing from Netherlands' squad due to illness during the international break.
