Ice hockey-Canada beat Team Europe to capture World Cup title

TORONTO, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Canada scored a last-minute goal to clinch the World Cup of Hockey on Thursday with a 2-1 win that brought Team Europe's magical tournament run to a close. The two-time reigning Olympic champions needed the minimum two games to close out the best-of-three final over a team featuring players from eight countries that were widely picked to finish last when the eight-team tournament began 12 days ago.
