WARRINGTON professional boxer Casey Brown returns to the ring on Saturday, July 6.

After a 15-month break from fights to focus on his family, the 25-year-old VIP Boxing Promotions super welterweight tackles Rotherham southpaw Nathan Darby at Grand Central Hall, Liverpool.

In contrast, this will be Darby’s eighth fight since turning professional at the start of the year and is yet to win – six defeats on points and one by knockout.

Brown’s last outing was the loss to Harvey Lambert at Manchester Arena on March 25, 2023, while his last win came against Jake Bray at the AJ Bell Stadium in Eccles on June 18, 2022.

The former Beamont Collegiate Academy pupil is considered a pugilist with a true heart and pure spirit, and started out at Fire ABC from the age of 10.

Before realising his dream of turning professional in 2021, Brown had 103 amateur fights and has had six in the paid ranks, with the first four being wins and the last two being losses – all on points.

Winning at life, Brown is now determined to get back to his winning streak in the ring.

He can be supported by sponsorship and ticket sales.

Doors for the fight night will open at 6.30pm and Brown is expected to be in action around 9pm.
