Celtic Park officially named one of the best tourist attractions in the world by TripAdvisor

Celtic Park has been named as one of the best tourist attractions in the WORLD by TripAdvisor.

The holiday ratings experts unveiled the winners of its annual Travellers’ Choice “Best of the Best Things to Do” Awards for 2024 based on the quality and quantity of reviews on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. And the home of the Scottish champions scooped the top spot as the single best attraction in the world for a family day out.

The hugely popular tour has racked up more than 2,000 five-star reviews on TripAdvisor, beating other activities such as a Desert Safari in Dubai and a Dolphin Boat Ride at Clearwater Beach in Florida. The tourist attraction at the Hoops' iconic stadium in the east end of Glasgow offers visitors "behind-the-scenes access, opportunities for photos, and a look at interactive exhibits".

One review said: "Exceptional tour, great history of a remarkable football club. Family all had a great day out with a knowledgeable tour guide."

Another read: "Had such a lovely time on our tour. Eric was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything. We had a toddler with us and he tried to involve him and other kids in the tour to make it more interesting for them. You don’t need to be a Celtic fan to enjoy this tour. A must do if you are in Glasgow."

While this visitor added: "Big Davie made the day for us. So knowledgeable and funny. It was amazing to live and breathe Celtic. Loved every minute."
