For a third year in a row the Champions League final will be free to watch online as Liverpool and Real Madrid go head to head in Kyiv.

The Europa League final between Atletico Madrid and Marseille will similarly be available to watch at no cost.

All fans with BT Sport subscriptions can watch both games on BT Sport 2, BT Sport 2 HD and in ultra-high definition on BT Sport 4K UHD, but those without a subscription can see the match live online via or the BT Sport app, as well as on YouTube for free.

Atletico and Marseille lock horns on 16 May at Lyon’s Groupama Stadium while Liverpool and Real meet at Kyiv’s NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium on 26 May.

“To have Liverpool in the Uefa Champions League final is fantastic,” said Pete Oliver, BT Consumer’s marketing and sales managing director.

“We have always said that we want to make top quality sport available to more people and so once again we will be making the Uefa Champions League final and the Uefa Europa League final available to all to watch online for free.

“This season we have shown some absolutely amazing games and have had some of our biggest audiences to date with viewing figures up by 47 per cent.

“The Uefa Champions League final is set to be a classic and we can’t wait to bring it to football fans across the UK.”
